In 2018, founder Hayley Lyle met Rajendran and began to record his story in a biography— a story of how a non-profit invested in his impoverished Dalit village and completely changed his life, empowered him as a leader, and ultimately became the catalyst for Raj to transform his community and the communities around him.
Barefoot King Initiative continues this story of transforming young lives through education, opportunity, and dignity, because when you change one life, you can change an entire community.
